Installing a WordPress Theme

I’ve already talked about the wonders of WordPress and now we’re getting into the meat of the system.  A theme is a set of rules and files that tells WordPress how your site should look.  There are literally thousands of themes out there, all of which look and feel different.  You could have a different theme every day for years and still never see them all.

Installing a theme is a somewhat technical process.  You need to upload a whole folder worth of files onto your hosting server in order for the theme to work.  Rather than walk you through the steps in writing, I’ve made a video outlining the process.  Before you get started, make sure you’ve got a great domain name, a hosting account and that you’ve updated your DNS settings
